About Me
My name is Amber McClane. I am a therapeutic, medically, and clinically educated Massage Therapist who has been working in the field for over 15 years. I specialize in neuromuscular therapy (NMT) and Reiki. I work with your body to help address underlying causes of pain or discomfort. This allows your body to use the natural healing process to help aches and pains caused by daily tension, work stress, athletic activity, and past injuries.
My philosophy of health involves a holistic approach where we all are on a journey in life and have the ability to make choices that can mend and strengthen, or slowly destroy our whole health. Massage is one of those mending and strengthening choices that is just one piece of the holistic "whole" . Day after day we deal with so many aches and pains that we tell ourselves are "natural". Massage is a wonderful, natural way to help get rid of those aches and pains that shatter our "wholeness" and it helps us get back to being more "whole". |
What I Offer
I offer a personalized, unique, massage to each client, each visit. It is called the "toolbox" massage.
Here are the tools in my toolbox:
Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT)
Reiki
Trigger point therapy
Sports Massage
Active Isolated Stretching
Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF)
Deep Tissue
Structural Integration
Relaxation
Myofascial Release
Facilitated Stretching and Range of Motion
Swedish massage techniques
Reflexology
What does the therapist recommend?
The toolbox massage! It means that through the years, I have learned and mastered many different techniques and modalities. I put all of these skills in what I like to call my "toolbox" and each time I assess an area of the body, I go into my "toolbox" and pull out the right "tool" that will help me to work on that area, loosen the musculature, or help alleviate the pain.
